Rehabs, recovery, & life coaching

Everywhere you turn today – whether it be TV, radio, internet – you see or hear ads promoting some kind of miracle rehabilitation center or treatment for your addiction, or alcohol problem. Many of these places cost in the tens of thousands of dollars. Many of you may have already experienced on of these and may have received excellent and successful treatment.

When I was in IOP (Intensive Outpatient Program) I was told along with my “classmates” that only very small percentage of us would make it to long-term sobriety. That was pretty (no pun intended) sobering. We all wondered which one of us would be the “ones” who would NOT make it. I knew right then and there that was not going to be me. I was going to make it. But what I discovered is that although I had been given a small seed, it was up to me to do the tilling, watering, weeding, and growing. The work was up to me whether I wanted to rocket into the 4th dimension of true sobriety – or whether I wanted to continue faking it in these “classes”. Thankfully I was able to make my way to a 12-Step Spiritual program and take the Steps towards recovery and my life change dramatically.

Unfortunately, there are good and bad rehab locations. And they do cost a lot of money. And they are hoping to get insurance to cover your time there. I’m not knocking treatment facilities, I just think they’ve become very pop-up in today’s society and one must be careful which one they choose for the best possible exposure to healthy recovery.

No matter what your experience in getting you to this brochure, you have come out of the other side and are ready for the next journey to the rest of your sober life. If you’re ready to do the work – or you’re already doing the work and you’re wondering “now what?” then you’re ready to take the next step in supplementing your recovery program with digging deeper into your values and passions and finding your true life purpose and fulfillment of your dreams and goals.
